Chrome Extension Management

If you are experiencing any sluggish or odd behavior while using Google Chrome, there may some extensions behind the cause of it. There are a couple of ways to access the extensions you have installed.

1) In your Google Chrome browser bar type chrome://extensions.    or

2) On your browser, click menu (the three lines). Select More tools > Extensions.

By default we have some extensions pre-installed for the Staff and Students at Massac Unit #1. However, if you notice any others that you don't use or look suspicious, the best thing to do is remove them. On the extension you want to remove, click the Trash Can next to the extensionA notice to remove the extension will appear. Click Remove. Alternatively, you can also click the check box to Enable/Disable the extension.

If you would like to see available extensions for Chrome that you might want to use, please visit: https://chrome.google.com/webstore/category/extensions

Your extensions are account based, so if you are signed into Chrome, any extensions you add or remove from one computer will also remove it from another.
